This was once a really wonderful little gem of a restaurant. It now looks very dated and could do with a freshen up somewhat. That said, the staff were friendly and attentive. Food was good value for money. Voir le carte

Avocado toast was delicious, the chilli flakes added to the avocado was a revelation, delicious creamy yolk poached eggs, the service was excellent and the coffee was the best I have had in a restaurant. Would highly recommend this friendly eatery.

We booked table for 6 at 5.15 to allow us time to go on to a show. First time we’d been so looked forward to it and all 6 of us were not disappointed! Everything from start to finish was top notch, so well done everyone who works there!! We will be back

As reviews really good we decided to visit The Bistro. Service good nice atmosphere. Not a great choice of menu for the weekend no set menus. Decided to have chicken liver pate for starters bad choice it came with 1 piece of of sourdough toast cut in half with pate and red onion chutney on top of the toast. The red onion chutney overpowered the pate and for eight quid not good value i would of expected it all separate definitely a No No. Main course was Fish and chips. Fish really nice batter was lovely. Chips ok but been cooked then left then reheated not great. No pudding as didnt want to carry on eating here Voir le carte
