"What a fabulous little gem this is on Honiton High Street! I have been visiting here for a number of years, it's a wonderful welcoming, friendly vibe, and the food is always incredible! The tapas is a definite highlight, alongside the belly pork or steak I've enjoyed them all! The pancakes offered on the breakfast menu are utterly divine (if I could, I'd have them every day! . I've attended charity theme nights (the cocktail evening was a particular favourite, even if we didn't manage to get through the whole menu Loving the food and service as much as we do, we also asked if they could cater our wedding. Nothing was too much trouble; from the initial planning, to the day itself, the team put me at ease and were so friendly and professional, helping guide us through what we needed/wanted. We decided on tapas to start, pizza for main (these are no ordinary pizzas! Hand stretched, cooked in a woodfired pizza over, they are perfection! followed by a selection of desserts. The food was plentiful, and the guests all commented on how much they enjoyed it! Honiton is fortunate to have a number of fabulous restaurants and cafes, but The Honiton Wine Bar is definitely top of the list for me!"

"Living locally and never visited the White Hart before we thought we would give it a try. We saw it was under new management as it seems to have had a chequered past with various managers. Well we were pleasantly surprised pub is great with plenty of space both indoors and out lots with ample parking. Drinks are very reasonable with a good selection but the food was great. Both my wife and I had rump steak which was cooked perfectly, came with all the trimmings which was great. Another customer came in and picked up pizzas which you can takeaway. Will certainly return and recommend, waiting for the Sunday roast to be on the menu, if as good as the steak then we will return with friends/family keep up the good work!!"

"in a nearby hotel we stayed a thai. only takeaway available. tom yum suppe, die fried chili and basilikum and curry dishes, all Thai sprinkle dishes, were authentic and excellent. no “Dämmen nach Bottom” on spicy content or missing galangal, sacred basilikum, which is often...the case with European exaggerated, probably for cost reasons. no delay in the recommended."

"I stopped by this restaurant while traveling for work and, although I likely won't be in the area again, I would definitely make a special trip if I had the chance. The food was exceptionally well-prepared, and we ordered a variety of dishes that were flavorful and perfectly balanced. Everything was served hot and very quickly. We left feeling quite satisfied, and at around £15 per person, it was great value for money. I highly recommend it! As for parking, there is plenty available right on the street outside. We dined in."

"We were asked to move as soon as we sat down, my green tea was served in a mug and was stewed by the time it arrived. When my husband asked for a brown sugar for his coffee the Waitress produced one packet of white sugar from a pocket in her apron. Meanwhile the couple on the next table sent their coffees and milk back as the milk had gone off, when they had fresh coffee given the lady said to her husband , the milk jug is filthy and picked off crusty bits of something off the rim. This put me off my food before it arrived. When it came, the breakfast was ok but this is not somewhere we will be returning to. A shame as we used to love coming here before it was taken over."
