"I've been living here for 5 years and can honestly tell me I never visited. the service and eating were wonderful. my man had the fish. superb. I had the pizza, as half Italian I am with everything that is claimed to be Italian. I told the owner and chef that he is now on our list of the "best pizzas in the world". I told him the best we were in venice, antwerpen, martinique and croatia, and now it is honiton! we both had a nice time. the personal was attentive and friendly and our little waitress (sorry, I forgot her name) was charming and a little sweet. we wanted to hug her, she was so sweet. so thank you again for a nice time and when my man leaves again to land they will be our first port of call when they pardon punctuality! davina blake"

now I have eaten at some good eating places. but this place is one of the best. no chic decor or pompous staff just great eating beautifully presented and with great service. when they visit in devon, they will not be disappointed! enjoy

A very friendly restaurant with great grub. The food was delicious and fresh with a good selection of interesting food. My wife and I did not think we had over ordered but the portions were generous, loved the whiteboard. You won't go hungry and our whole evening was great value.

Cannot recommend the wine bar highly enough, always have a lovely evening with them. Tapas, burgers, steaks and a specials boards normally available all reasonably priced, with the food locally produced. The staff are always happy and efficient and food beautifully prepared and served. Local gems like this have to be visited to ensure that they can keep going in tough times like we face today. I know that we will always go as we’ve never had a bad experience and always enjoy every mouthful.
