had an amazing Sunday dinner. the personal was wonderful, a real jewel. genuine, homemade quality food- can not wait back! also newly renovated!

Stopped off for a drink on our way home from a weeks staycation around the UK. Super friendly staff and a really warm welcome clearly steeped in history a wonderful little spot for a drink if you love old pubs Thank you so much

beautiful cozy pub with really friendly staff! we were a few times and the food was top-notch! would recommend the burger! my friend has eaten many burgers in many restaurants and this is definitely one of the best! they also have a pool table, darts and music! definitely worth visiting!

yesterday we visited the chestnut tree and had one of the best sunday roasts I ever had. totally recommend the Sharing plate that has slices of roasted beef, truthahn and gammon with all circumcisions. everything was homemade and all staff are so...attentively will definitely be revisiting Voir le carte

Visited a while back. Thought it was a lovely looking pub, nice interior, good food just a shame for the atmospheric feel of the place. It just lacked atmosphere, the bar staff either seemed lost in their own thoughts or were grumpy looking, a very...regimental feel to how it is run. It lacks enthusiasm, won't hurry back any time soon.

I don't live in Worcestershire however I had to arrange a wake following the funeral of my mother in law. The owner from the outset of the initial phone call was amazing and very helpful. On the day the food and service was first class...nothing was too much trouble. If I lived closer I would definitely spend time in this establishment. They have worked hard in lockdown to breathe new life into this pub. I hope they get the support they deserve. Good luck to you all

We stopped here on our way to chipping Campden for lunch after seeing it signposted off the main road. I'm always slightly wary of little village pubs as they can be cliquey, but this turned out to be an excellent choice. We received a very...friendly welcome, and were treated with care and excellent hospitality throughout. Our food was obviously homemade and delicious. I had the special Southern fried chicken, and my husband had Lasagne. Both faultless. Toilets were clean, well decorated and I really liked the special touch of baskets of sanitary wear available in case you were caught short. A great idea.
