"Love this pub! The team are always so friendly and the atmosphere spot on. Wife and I eat here 2 or 3 times a month and are yet to be disappointed food has always been delicious and amazing value for money! Food can be a little on the slow side sometimes but I would rather wait that bit longer and have a decent meal than have some microwaved rubbish launched out of the kitchen like it’s some sort of race as per some of the other pubs (cattle markets) in town! If you want a good bite to eat at a decent price, served by some of the happiest bar staff I’ve seen in years…then this is definitely the place!"

Lovely atmosphere, however kicked me out after I smuggled my meal and pint from wetherspoons in. I however had the last laugh with a pocket dinner. Would do it again.

I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant thanks to the very helpful manager. He even surprised us with a birthday cake as I requested. This is a great place to eat.

always a great night in here. very friendly staff and great cocktails and good bar service in consideration of the fact, how busy it is. only one can't have your cocktail bar in the summer, as you did when you opened it first.

This is a fantastic pub that is always busy on the weekends. I have not tried the food yet, but I have heard great feedback about it. The bar service is excellent, with very friendly staff. I will be coming here on New Year's Eve with my friends, so see you all there! xx

Really pleasant atmosphere this afternoon for some drinks with friends. Well priced drinks and decided to stay for food. 3 lovely meals, one veggie, one steak and a fish and chips. All hot and well cooked. Forget about this place sometimes but a little gem in the Old Town. Will deffo be back.

In there again yesterday with my sister. Have been so many times. Lovely food as always. Really nice, helpful and friendly staff and management. A great atmosphere. I always enjoy myself. What a fantastic time we had on Mother’s Day at the Mulberry Tree! The roast dinner was delicious, beef cooked to perfection, plenty of veg and an incredible Yorkshire pudding!!! The staff were all so lovely and the manager made a point of checking on all the tables, wishing the mums a happy Mother’s Day as he did, felt really genuine and so welcome there was a little bunch of daffodils ready and waiting on the table for each mum too which was a nice gesture. Can’t wait to go back again!
