"Our visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing and we will not be coming back. The atmosphere felt like a school cafeteria, the staff were inattentive, and you had to order everything from the bar with no drinks menu and limited wine options. The carvery was mediocre at best, with tough beef, fatty gammon, and soggy vegetables. The only decent option was the turkey. The gravy was decent but the lid was broken, causing a mess. Even the bangers and mash were dry. To top it off, all five toilets were out of toilet paper. Overall, a very disappointing experience and we will not be returning."

Very good value carvery with a good choice of veg and plenty of meat. The choice of desserts was good too. Very clean and friendly with good service.

Carvery is a favorite among the elderly crowd. However, the food lacked flavor and taste. The staff was delightful and accommodating, and parking was convenient.

Visited whilst staying in the area for an evening meal. Chose from the Indian menu all food was piping hot, full of spice and flavour. Left feeling very full indeed! Very nice service from the bar and waiting staff.

We have been frequenting this pub for years and have never had a negative experience. The food is amazing and the staff are all lovely, welcoming, and friendly. I definitely recommend this place. The gravy and roasters are the best!

This has to be the best Chicken Jalfrezi I have ever tasted! The owners were lovely, and although the Restaurant is known more for their carvery, you simply MUST try their curries! Quite possibly the best curry in the West Midlands and Shropshire. The Garlic Chilli Chicken is also to die for!

I came for lunch with my partner and her family. Food was half decent. On the other hand the service was terrible, the lady to served us had her hair in a bun on the top of her head, she slammed the plates on the table. Had a very moody look on her face it seemed like she didn’t want to work here. There was no check back on the food so couldn’t give feedback while eating, never asked when cleaned the plates from the table. She was rude as anything!! I will not return here again. Absolutely appalling!!!

Terrible service, having to queue for 10 minutes every time you wanted a drink or to order food. Portions are very small for the price- even the children’s meals. Ordered chicken Goujons for one child, only to find that one was actually a fish goujon! Good job she didn’t have any allergies. Did report to make them aware of the error and to check future orders but both people I spoke to did not seem that interested in how serious this could have been, very passive. Big prices, small meals and long terrible service.

Popped in for a carvery aswe were passing and hungry. Opted for roast beef and was treated to a masterclass in how to slice beef so thinly it was almost transparent. It was a good jpb the windows were closed as a decent breeze would have had the meat straight off of the plate! I mentioned this to the person carving to be given the answer its what I 've been told to do... Lukewarm soaking wet veg just added to the dismay. We really didn 't enjoy the meal at all but hunger wins every time and we ate it. First and last time here for us I 'm afraid.

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
