"We ordered takeaway and the order was wrong (not the delivery drives fault) when we called the restaurant the owner also tried to argue that the ezme sauce is a white creamy sauce until we proved him wrong. He then said he will call back in 5 mins for a solution. 15minutes later we called and the person we spoke to said he would deliver a fresh order in 30minutes accepting he had forgotten to send the right order and the person we previously spoke to had left. 1 hour later (still not receiving the correct order) we called again the owner said oh we cannot send your food out you have to come and collect but will be ready in about an hours time. He said he didnt call back as he had gone to deliver another order. We asked if he could deliver our order and he said he doesnt drive. We asked for a refund which he refused. He said we should come and collect and that he was not giving us £60 worth of food for free!? Ridiculous as our order was paid for £35.58 and was wrong (missing items). We explained we had paid for the food and would like our correct order delivered. He point blank refused and was incredibily rude. I would avoid at all costs. Owner has serious issues taking responsibilty for HIS errors. Which in the food industry can seriously ruin his business. I hope he learns before its too late! My advise would be to avoid a very arrogant owner in his deluded world!"

"Visited here for the first time, an i was very pleasantly surprised with just how nice the food was. The service was good too, with very attentive members of serving staff. Set across two floors, there are enough tables at this restaurant to sit small and large parties. It was busy, but what with it being a Saturday night a week before Christmas, its too be expected. I ordered, an can also highly recommend, the Desi Lamb, and also the Jeera Garlic Chicken, two very exceptional dishes. All washed down with a pint of Cobra Lager. There is ample parking available, with plenty of side streets. Heritage India also offer a take away service."

"We visited Oggi meaning today) on a cold November evening. The restaurant was brimming with people already at 6.45, so much so we skipped down to a local for 29 minutes until our table became available. The owner f the restaurant brought us delicious olives and bruschetta while we studied the menu. We were a table of 3 couples, four of whom had been close uni mates of 40 years. There was lots to catch up on, tears and laughter and clinking of glasses. The service was professional as yoi would expect from a good Italian restaurant. I am hard to please. I love good food, cooked well and this food was certainly the most delicious Italian I have eaten. Fat, sweet scallops in their shells, grilled with butter, cream and fine cheese. Rich and delicious. Fat, juicy king prawns cooked to perfection in a spicy tomato and garlic sauce. Thank goodness for the bread to mop up the delicious flavours. We ate pasta Oggi linguini with seafood, fresh cannelloni with ricotta and spinach, the best I have eaten, with such fresh flavours. We had fungi risotto with truffle oil and a portion big enough to feed two! We chose an organic Nero D’Avola from a single estate in Sicily. It was superb. Our host sang to us, recited beautiful poetry and brought a tear to our eyes with his generosity of sprit and honesty. I think each of us loved our experience and came away with a warm spot in our hearts for Reno and his superb Oggi, We will be back, for sure."

"This place is nothing short of 10 stars if I could . The food is outstanding . I’m new to Leicester so it was daunting ordering as it is with any other place you visit but It was such a great descion . Me and...and my husband have confirmed this is it for us now in terms of ordering Chinese this is our go to . Where do I start... the spicy prawns ... wow if your a sea food lover TRY they are delicious , so much flavour and swimming in sauce not a dry dish at all ! The homemade noodles I think the dish is called “leghman” I’m not sure but WOW iv never tried them before this was a new thing and Wow I don’t think I could eat the tradiotional chow mein style noodles after this .They were amazing as were the spring rolls. Crispy and all the food you can taste the difference , the freshness , not no warming in the microwave like iv once had from other places Just for an example of how good it was ... I ordered on Wednesday and ordered again on Thursday . My husband colllected on Wednesday and I thought I would collect this time and the restaurant was fitting for the food produced it was so so clean and there is a window that you can see through to the kitchen this is always a gold star when it comes to eating out you have the option to have a look to see behind the scenes and it’s all spotless and you can tell they enjoy providi my good quality food. The manager also gave me a complimentary drink as I couldn’t help but tell him how great the food was. I do like to take my time to comment when I have received a good service because they defiantly deserve it . Great work guys . I’ll be back ."

"My partner found this place on groupon so we tried it we walked in and was greeted by a lovely man called ben who we found out it was his dad doing the food so it was a father and son set up ben was so on the ball the food was delicious so we tried it again still was delicious the next time and ben always welcoming didn’t go for a long time then went last night and felt so relaxed bens dad greeted us and was so endearing and they both couldn’t do enough it is so relaxing and we just love the small but lovely feeling just needs a little tlc on the place but would recommend this place for that special and relaxing place well done for such a small and family run place see you soon keep up the great work"
