The Longhouse - Carte

This place is truly magical no matter the season. Today, our children got to meet Santa and were so excited! It was well worth it. The food is great too.

This charming venue by the coast is a favorite stop when biking in the area. It is always clean and welcoming, and I look forward to bringing my family here for a meal in the future.

had a great breakfast with the family . excellent service and quality. personal very friendly and professional. visit them as soon as possible for lunch or dinner. the place is so much better than in the past and the new peculiarities I am sure that a great success of the company. highly recommended. Disappointed with the Sunday lunch .the roast potatoes and parsnips were fried in a deep fat fryer and so hard I was unable to cut them and there was nothing inside them practically inedible. .The gravy was the consistency of water and the whole meal was under or non seasoned . Wont be going there again

We were staying literally opposite Jacks so had to try it and really enjoyed it! The food was freshly cooked, really tasty and big portions! Staff were really friendly and helpful and we felt really at home straightaway. Also, I just have to mention the biggest teacakes I've ever eaten in my life delicious!

In early September 2023, we decided to dine here on our last night at Trewent Park. The experience did not disappoint. The portions were generous and flavoursome. Jack's is in a beautiful location, right by the sea. The staff are friendly but the menu is very limited, good if you like burgers. I had the chicken and bacon salad and there was very little of either in it. My husband did have a burger which he said was okay, he'd had better. The place didn't have much atmosphere. Shame it could be so much more.

This restaurant is a fantastic place to enjoy a delicious meal. While not overly fancy, the food is well-prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant is dog-friendly and appears to be well-managed with plenty of activities available. The staff are exceptional and deserve special recognition for their excellent service. It is evident that they are well-trained and provide great hospitality.

we called in a cold day after a long walk in jacks and we were very happy to find an open spacious room that was warm and welcoming, with a selection of settees or table and chairs. the staff was very friendly and did not pay attention to our muddy boots, so we had coffee and speck and sausage rolls and one of our group had the homemade welsh cawl they said was delicious. we were all very happy with our lunch and the comfortable environment, and we will definitely be back soon.
