"Good for an early tea, not for a weekend night out, more of a diner feel. quick stop for a casual bite. A friend and I took our elderly parents for a Christmas evening. Compliments to their chef food was good. Staff nice. Just a shame on a Saturday night in December it closes promptly at 10pm music is turned off and they mop the floors around you. We took the hint and moved out to front the porch to wait on our lift which was on the way, we were then ushered onto the street by the owner, on what was a bitterly cold and windy night, fortunately not pouring. We left disappointed. I wouldn't return and it was a sad end to a lovely night it's a shame that we had already left the 20% tip. To summarise it's more suited to the large footy team crowd that popped in for a quick pre bite and shots before hitting the town not for a night out at a restaurant if you want to catch up."

Excellent service and food. Early bird menu on a Saturday was a good surprise and the food was very tasty. Dog friendly too!

Thanks so much to all the team at the lighthouse. Absolutely unreal food as always, there was 17 of us and nothing was too much trouble. Staff and food the reason we always come back but thankyou

I booked this for my 30th and was looking forward to it, but they cancelled my reservation a couple of days before and I had to find somewhere else to go. No reason was given for the cancellation.

We went here on Sunday for lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. Buzzing atmosphere and lovely location. The food was absolutely outstanding, 4 of us had the Turkey Ham roast and it was beautiful. Can’t wait to come back again.

This was our first visit and it definitely won’t be our last! We were made to feel so welcome and the food was amazing! Husband had chowder to start and rated it the best yet! We are looking forward to trying your steak nights so we will be back very soon! Thank you so much Jamie

Sad this place has suffered the same fate as those that came before it. You’d think the building was jinxed! They made a good stab at it but in essence it was just providing the same stuff everyone else was in the town and getting stubborn NI people to change their allegiance to a new restaurant was always going to prove to be a tough ask. I think what’s more disturbing now is their choice of local ‘PR consultant’ (lol) to deal with the aftermath is both worrying and seriously misguided. Frightening, actually.

Decided to try the Lighthouse on a sleepy Saturday afternoon for a birthday celebration with my wife. The chicken stack is pobably one of the nicest main courses I have been served in my life, and I have dined across the world! The layers of top quality ingredients oozing with flavour will adorn your tastebuds.. just perfection. My wife tried the beer battered haddock which was maybe the freshest, most perfectly cooked fish I have ever seen with divine chips. The service was exceptional and good beer on draft, not exotic, but well poured and nicely chilled. Overall, a wonderful experience that was topped off by us meeting some lovely canine guests as the Lighthouse is delightfully accommodat...

"We have eaten in Grace Neill many times the food has always been very good and we enjoy the live music. Tonight we booked a table for 4 in the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed lovely starters and main courses. The problem arose when we realised that the table was flooded with water, my husband’s trousers were soaking and my dress could have been rung out. We drew this to the attention of the waitress who went and got the manageress. We suggested that the ice bucket was leaking. The manageress said this was unlikely, held it up in the air and then admitted that it was in deed leaking. She offered me some ‘blue towels’ to dry my dress off and when I declined she offered to take me ‘into the disabled toilet’, which I found rather bizarre and also declined. When the bill came £191) no gesture had been made to compensate for soaking our attire. I took the bill to the girls at the till and asked them to have another look at it, in light of our soaking clothes. The manageress returned to the table, with a new bill, having deducted an amount by way of compensation, for which we were grateful, but then she proceeded to comment that I had been rude to staff. Ironically, we found this comment rather rude in itself and also totally unnecessary. Having admitted that our dining experience was not perhaps 100%, it was rather counter productive to then claim we had been rude. It also further exacerbated our dissatisfaction. A disappointing end to what should have been another lovely meal in our local pub. Perhaps some management training in customer service would be useful."
