Yummy food cooked to order. We had bon bons and trickles to start followed by delicious pizzas Super friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of ales. Nice and clean.

Lazy staff, and their attitude towards the manager was disgusting!! Hearing staff moaning and answering back while having a quiet drink isn’t exactly what I had in mind for a Saturday afternoon!!

The tastiest burgers you have ever eaten. Highly recommended because all the burgers and pickles are handmade and Even with a somewhat complicated no carb requirement the portions were generous and delicious Voir le carte

We organised a Movember event in the upstairs room and it was a really lovely night. Had food provided by the chefs of mini burgers and chips that guests said was delicious. The staff were super accommodating in helping set up and incredible with guests, would hold an event here again

Visited with dog and small child. Manager couldn’t have been more accommodating. Although we always take care to clean up, we’re conscious of the mess at meal times etc but the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Simple menu but well done. Piping hot and big portion sizes. Really sorry to report this, but I’d definitely give this place a miss. The toilets always tell me how clean and we’ll kept a place is, the ladies was really smelly and dirty and obviously hadn’t been checked or cleaned all day, there was no soap in the dispenser.There were dirty glasses everywhere outside and the glass used to serve my gin was dirty.There didn’t appear to be a lot of staff around which may explain the situation, I would not come again.

I booked a party venue in the upstairs area, with plenty of space for dancing guests and the musicians. The bar drinks are reasonably priced (we had our own bar), and we could also go to the downstairs bar if we wanted.I had been there before for other parties, and it was exactly what I remembered, expected, and wanted, including the buffet.I will definitely book there again for any party that I have with more than just ten people coming, or if we have more than one music group playing.What made it really convenient for me is that the transport for the musicians and myself could park on site to unload our equipment in the centre of Stratford. Great looking place, right by the river. Perfect setting my for a drink food in the sun! HOWEVER this place really lets Stratford down! The bar staff were rude and not interested in their customers needs, on requesting to move inside the barman just told us to wait for our food and then they’d deal with it, and that it was all service only! When the food arrived, it was warm/cold. We waited 50 minutes for the food, one main one side! Absolute JOKE!! The toilets were disgusting with the no working soap dispenser in the mens, with no soap at all in the ladies!
