Excellent food at a fantastic price—overall, a wonderful restaurant. My only suggestion for improvement is that our starters were served at different times. I've visited twice now, and while the staff seem somewhat inexperienced, it hasn't affected my experience so far. Price per person: £20–30. Food rating: 5/5.

We visited to celebrate a family member's birthday, and the experience was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the staff created an excellent atmosphere. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service and atmosphere left much to be desired. After placing our order, we were told it would take about half an hour to receive our food, but an hour later, we were still waiting with no sign of it. We eventually attempted to ask the bar staff about the status of our order.

We hadn't visited this pub for food in over 20 years, but recent positive posts on Facebook convinced us to give it another shot. I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and guided us to our reserved table. After browsing the menu, we placed our orders. There were four of us dining, and two of us chose to start with appetizers. They arrived in under ten minutes and were both excellent. Our main courses followed shortly after, and once again, everything was perfect—well-presented, hot, and delicious. The bill was also very reasonable compared to other local places.
