"of 24 we kept the watch of my mother and cecilia and tony prepared us nice eating. a nice mix of sandwiches and really delicious Asian finger food that went very well with our guests. there was a lot of food and tony and cecilia also went out of the way to accentuate last-minute requests from our guests and to deal with special nutritional needs. we had the pleasure of having a nice, hot sunny day, and since the functional space emerges on a sunny lying surface and a large garden with tables and benches, it was perfect for us. the children's play equipment also went down very well with my two little children. it was all perfect for the occasion. many thanks to cecilia and tony. the best wishes, jeremy."

Staff are friendly and provided great customer service, even gave me directions. Had the hog roast and that was divine. Really enjoyed this little spot. Highly recommend!

amazing eating, wonderful owners who they feel at home right away, even rufus the dog gets a warm welcome! I have no words to describe how tasty their Malaysian curries are, I say that English eating is also delectable; I can't resist the curries, so I never tried the rest of the menu!

I hadn't had the pleasure to visit the crossing because we moved due to work obligations, but will definitely do if we are nxt down to hospitable family, we spent many a good evening lunch time enjoying the absolutely delicious food, business atmosphere in their earlier pub, it is definitiw one must, they will not be disappointed.

Roast dinner poor. Very low quality meat being used and took a long time to be served. Dirty glasses being used and had to ask for them to be changed. Nice country pub, however I feel they are depending on the location/tourists visiting the area as overall its disappointing. Pub needs a bit of TLC and a bit more care into the food quality. What a lovely find. Lovely accommodating staff, lovely atmosphere and superb food. We will be back. We stopped off on our trip along The Spa Valley Railway for a birthday meal for my husband. It could not have gone better. The staff were so friendly and the food would not have been bettered in a top class restaurant. We were very impressed and happy with our choice of venue.
