The pub was busy but not packed, the service was quick and efficient, and the food was delivered quickly. The food was tasty and good value.

I went for an early breakfast on Father's Day. There was a big queue at the bar, but it was busy and served quite efficiently. The food was delivered quickly and tasty. Overall, I was very happy with my experience.

Were in Cwmbran for a couple of days this weekend for some xmas shopping, and visited the John Fielding for a light lunch and some beers yesterday afternoon. The place was packed and was clean with helpful staff and the food was very good and served promptly. Voir le carte

I frequently visit this restaurant and have tried the scampi and chips, which I highly recommend. I also enjoy their cocktails, hot chocolate, and breakfasts. The staff, especially Georgia, are very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make my experience great.

I'm yet to come here and have a hot breakfast. On this occasion I did send it back as I've had enough of getting stone cold food. How hard is it to serve a hot breakfast?? The only thing that was hot on the plate was the hash browns. The staff issued another breakfast which I'm pleased to say was very hot. Well presented good value and enjoyable.

Went with my sister we bought the £6 breakfast which was disappointing to say the least first of all they left my bacon off secondly when it arrives it look like had been on the floor and was very chard also what look like a teaspoon full of beans and a mushroom that looked like it had been flattened to make it look bigger, It wasn't that warm either so if you're going for breakfast then i would not bother Voir le carte

Ordered 6 main courses, 4 of which were very poor. The two Steak and Kidney puddings could have been used to repair stone walls. Rock solid pastry and dry filling. The American cheese burger and chips was smaller than a McDonald's Happy Meal. The Wiltshire Ham looked like it had be bought from a supermarket value range and then left to dry and curl. Not a good experience. Service was polite. Desserts were fine.

I stopped in for a meal before going to the cinema and unfortunately, I will not be returning for food anytime soon. The food was terrible. It's a nice place to grab a pint, but the quality of the food has declined. It appears to be batch cooked and left to dry out and harden throughout the day. The dish that was supposed to be a red Indian skin in the picture turned out to be a chicken breast, and the unidentified meat next to it was either lamb or pork. It was so dry and tough that it was impossible to even cut, let alone eat.

Dont normally review a Weatherspoons. Being a chain, they are what they are, so would only review if particularly good or bad. This one was good. I had a steak, though that is not a normal choice for me at a Weatherspoons, but it was cooked absolutely bang on as requested. Good one. Mrs Mooke had a fish and chips, reporting that it was nice and crispy and the fish itself not dry. Good one again. So yep, had a decent meal at a reasonable price. The pub was super clean and there was good steady trade going on when we visited. Definitely one of the better weatherspoons visits… Voir le carte
