We each ordered a starter and a main course, and the food was of excellent quality. We didn't have to wait long for our meals, either. Amazing setting! I've been coming here for 25 years and this is the best reinvention yet. Super friendly staff, good selection of drinks, food excellent. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the huge TV in the bar

This was one of the best places I have stayed ever!! including hotels and B&B"s!! The food was beautiful and the staff could not do enough to help. Our room was basic but clean and airy and the beds were very comfy would seriously recommend ! Voir le carte

I had a beautiful evening tonight enjoying an excellent three-course Christmas dinner. It was definitely worth the visit! The staff were friendly and very professional. I highly recommend this place to others. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! x

The Sunday carvery was absolutely delicious! I've never had a meal here that wasn't tasty, and the pints are always great as well. The staff are consistently friendly. While it's a pub that attracts hikers, you don't have to be one to enjoy it. Highly recommend! Service: 5 Location: 5
