Great value traditional fish chips served by polite helpful staff. What more could you wish for. Visited again last night still the best Fish Chips on the Island

best fish and chips since the move to the island's large fresh 8oz cheeseburger with gerkins and a wonderful Irish curry sauce with the chips. it was good to visit, though had to wait for the Kovid warte, but it was worth it.

The fish and chips were beautifully cooked and the service was friendly. My only criticism is that the food was packaged in bags, causing the fish and chips to sweat during the short trip home, which was less than 10 minutes, resulting in a bit of a mess on the table.

It's a fish and chips shop, but a really good one! The atmosphere is as authentic as the food, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We've been coming to the happy haddock for a lot of years. There are a few negative reviews which worried me, but I wasn't disappointed, I'd ordered online and our food was ready just after I arrived. Really tasty fish and chips, The best you can get. They don't allow you to have plated food inside like the old days which I guess is down to staffing, but at least you can grab a chair now whilst you're orders being cooked! Food: 5

The fish and chips here are absolutely beautiful and incredibly fresh. Every order is cooked to perfection and made fresh to order. This place is a favorite among the locals. They even have special offers for guests over 60, and if you give 30 minutes' notice, they offer a separate Coeliac menu. You can enjoy your meal on-site or take it away. The chips are cooked in the traditional way using beef dripping. Be sure to check out the menu copies. We thoroughly enjoyed all our meals!

Based on the reviews, we decided to try this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. The fish was incredibly delicious—definitely worth the price—and it was wonderfully flaky. The chips were also excellent. It was a bit unusual to eat out of bags, which made it somewhat tricky to enjoy our meal on the promenade, but we quickly adjusted. The curry sauce, however, was a letdown—it was a bit watery and lacked flavor. Don’t let that discourage you from eating here, though. The wait time was a bit long since it was busy, but that just shows how popular the food is. The staff was really friendly, which added to the positive experience.
