"I visited this restaurant with a friend I haven't seen in years, as it has always been a favorite spot for us. It was busy, and the manager was focused on their ipad, so I asked the bar staff if there was a chance of getting a table and we were willing to wait. The manager eventually looked up and informed us that they were full, despite there being empty tables. There was no warmth or hospitality, and my friend even witnessed a couple leaving. If the manager had at least said they couldn't promise anything but suggested we grab a drink and wait, we would have stayed. However, it felt like they weren't interested in accommodating us. My friend was so appalled that we decided to leave and went to Bear and Ragged Staff, where we had a lovely meal. I won't be returning to this restaurant again. Remember, manners cost nothing."

Lovely people. , service was great, food was delicious and well presented, great value for money. We was a party of 4 and took a chance as never booked and was travelling back home from Swindon . They made us welcome and we was very lucky to have a table made up within 30 minutes as we hadn’t booked .. would highly recommend this Pub/Restaurant, would say book in advance though as it was very busy during our stay.

I came to a quick drink today with my other half and looked over the menu while here. I could not take my eyes from the wild mushrooms on roasted zabatta with spinat and stabbed egg during the brewing of the menu and ended the order. Oh my lord, I'm glad I did it!? I worship this eating here, and I always sacrifice the gray as a suggestion for people who are looking for somewhere to eat. but my god! Who composed this dish needs provision and it would be sacrileg to have removed this from the already wonderful menu! 12 of 10 greyhound! you have surpassed you again!
