"We recently dined at this restaurant for the first time under new ownership and were extremely impressed. Although the menu may seem like typical pub fare, the quality of the food exceeded our expectations compared to other local establishments. Two of us tried the steak from the specials board and found it to be one of the best steaks we have had in years. The other two in our party ordered pies from the regular menu, which were delicious and homemade using locally sourced ingredients, including the steaks. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, making for an overall excellent dining experience. We look forward to returning in the future."

We had a fantastic pizza night with 5 adults, 10 children, and 2 babies! It was a fun Easter egg hunt in the garden. Thank you so much- we will definitely return!

We went out for dinner last night. The kids both had dishes from the children's menu and they really enjoyed them, the portions were generous. My husband had the filet steak and said it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. We can't wait to come back again.

We had a wonderful Valentine's night/ wedding anniversary meal at this restaurant. Each of the three courses was superb. The starter was fantastic, followed by a beautiful fillet steak. The dessert was an orange and chocolate mousse served in a terracotta pot made of orange chocolate. The service was excellent, with efficient and polite staff. We had a great experience and will definitely be returning.

We made a reservation at The Green Inn for a family birthday dinner. All 12 of us ordered the Sunday roast, with choices of Lamb, Beef, or a vegetarian option. The food was exceptional and offered great value for the price. The service was fantastic as well. This family pub is truly a hidden gem and we highly recommend it. We went for Sunday lunch and it was fantastic. The meat was tender and delicious, with generous portions. All the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the roast and mashed potatoes were impeccable. The cauliflower cheese was especially outstanding. The prices were reasonable, the service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. My partner and I couldn't find anything to fault and we will definitely be returning.
