"As we were staying in the village me and the wife went in for a quick beer .. the bar man was fantastic . So decided to have something to eat. .. we stayed in the bar as the atmosphere was great . We ended up having two fantastic meals . Very well priced . I had the fish and chips. And the wife had toad in the hole ... Her Yorkshire puddings was the size of the plate fantastic value ... We ended up staying for over 3 hrs considering we were only popping. The staff were great very friendly. We left very happy full and to be honest a bit tipsy .. 10/10."

The advertised opening times on google are incorrect. We walked over from Moreton today, lovely walk and arrived just before 3pm gagging for a pint…… To find a sign on the door saying “Open at 5pm”. Saved by the village shop who also sell beer!

I really enjoyed it. I stopped for a quick meal on my way home and was impressed by the warm welcome and delicious food. This will now be my go-to place to take a break on my way home. The traditional pub has been nicely renovated and is very charming. Voir le carte

Excellent food with really friendly staff. We were staying locally over the weekend and came on Friday for dinner. They were short staffed and quite busy in the bar but still provided excellent service. Had the pulled pork burger and would highly recommend! Also dog friendly in the bar area

To begin with, the service is impeccable and very attentive and friendly. The local beers are delicious and the food very well made and quality, made with enough love. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, local with few frills and quite minimalistic and with certain decorative elements that seem taken from any decoration store. Really a highly recommended pub for dinner and a few beers. We liked it a lot.
