fab pub, great food, great night. bedroom really nice, and the new decor fits perfectly to the pubs character.

I was happy on Saturday night with 13. was never in the good intent, but what a nice pub with great staff. I will come back in definitiw.

Very old, beamed pub with woodburner. Fairly basic in decor but allows dogs, so makes sense. Drinks and comfort food. Properly cooked Chilli, very nice. Roomy. Voir le carte

Blues rock band were on playing old classics which was lovely. Great entertainment, friendly atmosphere, quite a small place where everyone was crammed in but thoroughly enjoyed it.

always a great atmosphere, very welcoming and relaxing at the beginning of the week, then welcome live music at the weekend. eating is top notch, especially the new takeaway fish and chips that were the best I ever had. Voir le carte

Traditional pub vibe. Locals propping up the bar, traditional pub food including staples such as Ham egg and Chips but also Burgers and Ribs. Has a homely welcoming feel in the winter especially with the two open fire places.

Over recent years I started visiting this pub a little less as it was feeling abit neglected and lacking energy. I decided to give it another shot when I heard the pub was under new management and I am so pleased to say it’s back to its former glory. The landlord and landlady are professional and friendly which straight away gives a more relaxing atmosphere compared to their predecessors. My partner and I also decided to try their pub food. My partner was amazed to see multiple choices of vegetarian options, which is often limited to 1 item at other small pubs. She said ‘this is the best veggie pie I’ve had!’. Popped in here as it was listed as dog friendly and my mother and I had traveled to petersfield for a dog walk exploring the local lake and got hungry. So glad we did! What a lovely little pub! The gentleman holding down the fort acting as barman and waiter etc (I presume the Landlord! was lovely and friendly, welcoming and kind- none of that small pub for locals atmosphere at all! I got chatting with some of the regulars and it seems to be a very well loved and well used local for many but one you can step in to as an outsider and be happily welcomed.
