The Farcroft Bar and Grill

OK, it’s in an area that makes Aleppo look quite smart, but don’t let that put you off! Bar/Restaurant was pleasant, staff were helpful and food was of a high standard.

After making a reservation and calling ahead, we were seated promptly at our table. However, the menus were carelessly placed on the table before we had fully settled in.

After getting married in the botanical gardens, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant and we were completely thrilled with our experience! The ambiance was stunning and the service provided by the waitstaff was excellent. Voir le carte

to wait too long for a table. The food is delicious and the service is always on point. I love coming here for a nice meal with friends or family. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for any occasion. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area!

The food is really nice and it doesn't get as busy as the other places around the area, so you don't have to wait ages. Prices are average. The dining area at the back is great especially when they have the real log fire on....Staff are friendly. There aren't a lot of places you can go with your family, but this is one. Defo worth a visit.

We used to come here a couple of times a week for food but the last time we came was probably years ago and the food was poor beyond belief. Came again tonight after a long time to see if things had improved but...it was rubbish. No taste to the food at all, had to drown everything in mint sauce and chutney to eat what we ordered. We do the rounds of Indian BBQ restaurants and the Farcroft isn't bad. It's not the best but the food certainly isn't horrendous. The entrance to the restaurant area is really hard to find though. Had we not had guidance from an experienced friend, I'm...not sure we would have ever found it! Staff were friendly, but the service felt a little slow at times. However, the food was nice so worth a trip if you're in the area.

This is the sixth time I've eaten here over the last year and the food is consistently good and excellent value for money. I've now got my favourite dishes (Chicken Palak and Tarkha Dal but all the food is good and generous portions too. The...staff are friendly and helpful although they were incredibly busy last night. It is a little difficult to find the restaurant entrance, which is at the very back of the pub, but don't be put off, it's worth the effort.

yesterday attended this old timepiece, the decor in the run of the years has not changed, but after I heard all the hype about the food, I was extremely disappointed. we ordered a small mix grill that was burned out when we complained to the owner (quality behind the...bar) was his answer: "they should have told us that they didn't want to do it well". I though ok, I wanted it cooked not burned, but as I didn't let it ruin the experience, so I thought I would then try the curries, so I went to the owner sohn to order on the counter) at which point I mentioned the burned grill again. this time was the answer: "oh, but they have to pay for the curry" I think the guy who thought I was after a f...
