The Elsted Inn - Menu

Dreadful in every way. New tenant in situ. Garden a mess. Dog mess on grass everywhere . No food as the chef hadn’t turned up. Won’t be going again.

Stopped for a quick drink on our way home. Driven past several times. What a lovely place. Friendly staff and the most amazing olives ever. We will be visiting more often.

website showed good quality gastropub food, but actual choices not at all. filz cheated on the website. very disappointed. veggie burger was cheap frozen farewell as the sausages. black lambs pale, but then only 2/6 dessert selections actually an. a Friday night.

Stayed in the pub accomdation. Clean rooms in seperate converted building. Dog friendly room option, with access topub garden. Very friendly landlady with chef serving fantastic food, including our breakfast. Steak and mussels exceptional. If we lived local we would eat there regularly.

We had a really lovely meal at the Elsted Inn tonight- the food and service were excellent and they made us feel both v welcome and v safe managing all the Covid restrictions really well. Would definitely recommend the rib eye steaks were particularly...delicious as were the fish cakes.

A pub that we have visited over the years often as part of car club meetings and have always come away well fed and happy. After a depressing year we thought we would visit on New Years day for their classic car meet for a...bit of cheer. Sadly once again Pubco policies appear to have led to another licensee resignation. I do not know the politics behind the decision but very sad.

we've been preparing for the high time. we left the room at 1 hour and closed the room door. we left our cases and some personal things in the room expected they to be safe and safe, but on our return. in the room shortly after 11 o'clock our room door was wide open with a door stop and a key left in the lock! everyone could have come into our room, has helped the key to our car and taken it! we are very concerned about the safety level in the elsted inn.

We booked up for an anniversary lunch at the pub and we were not disappointed. What a fabulous pub, with staff who know exactly how to deliver top notch customer service. As for the food, the burger was the best I have ever had, and...I've had a few from all corners of the world! My wife had the quesadillas, which were equally delicious. We then had the crumble..... Wow! Thanks again to all of the staff and if anyone is thinking of popping in, then please do as they thoroughly deserve your support and in return will provide you with a fab experience!

near midhurst we had to celebrate for a short 4-day accommodation man and my own 60th birthdays, a lot of restaurants for dinner in the opposite. before my man had in the elsted inn at work. in the opposite and dined, but felt that the quality of the food was immersed in definitiw. the menu is very simple and eating extremely average quality. the bartender/waitress seemed almost surprised that we had a reservation, told us to sit somewhere and then not made a step to offer us a menu or ask us if we want a drink. we had to go into the bar and ask for menus and then wait a few time before our order was taken. it seemed to be a crisis in the kitchen at a point in the evening when the server rus...
