"My wife and I were on a break for our anniversary and went in for a meal and on arrival we met Gracie who showed us to our table. She took our order and when the food arrived it was amazing and the service from Gracie was first class, she's a lovely girl and we tapped into her local knowledge about where to do some shopping the next day. She told us the best places to go and let us know about the market that local traders put on on a Friday. Everything about the Duchess Kirkcaldy from the ambience, to the food and the music played was outstanding and I'd recommend this establishment to anyone local or even passing through. I'll definitely be back the next time we visit Kirkcaldy a well run and spotless restaurant, we'll done to all the staff for making it friendly and an amazing place to eat."

Dropped in for some lunch. Place was busy and rather noisy. Food was hearty but nothing particularly special. Bit of a labyrinth if you head off to the toilets ... but follow your nose and you'll get there

We went to the duchess on Saturday night to see Cody and the frets playing...we had a few ciders and enjoyed the musical entertainment. The bar staff were friendly and efficient and will definitely be back again

Great night here, loads of folk and a jam band with lots of people on and off the stage all night. Nice choice of drinks and menu looked good although we didn't eat. The Sunday Jam session has a great atmosphere and was busy most of the night. Lots of opportunities to get up and join in. Will definitely be back!
