"Went for food and drinks on a Saturday evening. Not too busy as still early but the same problem of stacking up the tables right in front of the bar exists. Just makes it a battle to get served as so many people crammed into a small space as the might progresses. Barman was sound and said he would bring menus over. Quick service and decent menu. Food was OK, nothing to rave about and wouldn’t return but nothing to complain about. Bizarrely they seem to serve peas and carrots with everything. Decent enough but never experienced it before as a side to a curry, or cajun dishes! Waitress was professional but overall should stick to just being a pub/live music venue."

Excellent food and cocktails. The music, quirky decor and friendly staff makes this one of our favourite places for lunch, dinner, cocktails or a night out.

The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I had roast beef with roast potatoes and gravy, along with vegetables. For dessert, I had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream.

We went to the duchess on Saturday night to see Cody and the frets playing...we had a few ciders and enjoyed the musical entertainment. The bar staff were friendly and efficient and will definitely be back again Voir le carte

Very vibrant atmosphere with delicious beverages. The food is decent and tasty. The staff are super friendly and they are dog friendly so a mega bonus to me, my wee one loves sitting at a booth watching everyone. Their event evenings are excellent fun. Lovely place,staff and tasty eats well worth a visit.

Great night here, loads of folk and a jam band with lots of people on and off the stage all night. Nice choice of drinks and menu looked good although we didn't eat. The Sunday Jam session has a great atmosphere and was busy most of the night. Lots of opportunities to get up and join in. Will definitely be back!
