"So we arrived in Bridlington from Grimsby and decided to pop in the appolo for a quick drink as we always do when down that way we browsed the menu and decided we would go have a wander round and pop back later for food before heading home which we did We found a table (26) and ordered our food Hubby had the curry with chips i wanted the steak yorshire pud but it was apparently sold out so i opted for steak pie chips,and garden peas There was quite,a wait for the food to come but we tucked in when it did both enjoying it until i had eaten half my pie and went to cut another piece and a ball of rolled up clingfilm fell out of it ...i felt sick ! Called the waitress over who hurriedly took my plate away I saw her take it to the bar and show 2 members of staff she then dissapeared with it round the back then came out and started cleaning the table next to us no explanation nothing so we sat and waited still nothing so i went to the bar and ask her what was happening she said oh nothing as casual as you like i said i find a large piece of plastc in my food and your not doing anything about it she said youd better ask her and pointed to the bar manager so i went over she said she hadnt seen it as she was serving i told her i wasnt happy so she gave me a refund no apology nothing i was not happy and certainly will not be eating here again I felt so sick all the way home Standards have certainly dropped in this place"

This place was excellent the food was gorgeous and the staff were lovely and we sat by the window overlooking the bay would definitely recommend

Came here for tea, got the fish n chips, our server was very attentive and polite and the service was fast , get value for money. Couldn’t recommend more.

A great welcome for us 3 adults and our 2 puppies. The food was delicious and service impeccable. The toilets need to be checked to get it up to scratch ....

Called in for a bite to eat and wasn't disappointed, service was very good and fast, and our meals were very good and great value, give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Half decent food but it’s overpriced for what it is. Staff are pretty unwelcoming, bordering on rude. They don’t like groups of more than 4 so stay away if you come to Brid with a few friends

Never EVER known such rude staff. Think she might be the “chef” shame really because it’s a lovely setting in the balcony had a lovely view. Says “dog friendly” but clearly not, won’t go back.

Nice place for a drink and food. Good prices, clean and good service. Harbour view balcony for sunny days. All the food looked good and plenty of clean plates and happy faces. The liver and onions is to die for.

Wow! I can't rate this any higher. Absolutely amazing. Excellent value, quality and quantity of food. Well presented. Lovely setting. Great staff. Even called the chef out to show my appreciate. Highly recommend.
