Great local village pub. Three real ales. Food looked good. Enjoyed Bass top draw. Relaxing place. Recommended.

Really disappointed. No high chair for a child provided and was given the worst table with not much space. Food was great but the experience wasn't good for us.

Recently reopened under new management. Excellent local pub, one side for drinkers and the other for diners. New chef and menu....Excellent food. Beer choices are good and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Food was OK for the price nothing special and I wouldn't travel well out of my way for if I was local I would happily stop again. The main gem of the evening was the staff, they was all fantastic some of the beat service I've had : Voir le carte

Came up from Crewe to meet family who were staying the weekend in this area. Had lunch today not realising it was a limited menu on Mondays but wow it was fantastic. Fab food, excellent value and a very friendly and efficient guy who looked after us. Highly recommend this pub.

We turned up without a booking on the first Sunday back open. The staff were really accommodating finding us a table for an hours time. It was worth the wait. Lovely little pub with roaring log fires and a cosy feel. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. Even better, the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly.

A fantastic, cosy pub with a lovely atmosphere. We visited for a drink as it was my other half's birthday. Children came along too. Lovely Bass beer on cask! No less than three fire places to keep warm and snug. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. It got really busy towards 18:30 ish and the atmosphere was lovely. Every table also got home cooked delicious chips, for free! Will definitely visit again. Voir le carte
