What a great little find, will definitely return. Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious. Turkey and beef were cooked perfectly. Lovely roast potatoes and vegetables also cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to return. Thank you.

Booked 2 days before as visiting family last minute plans. Sunday Roast was very nicely presented with a good selection of vegetables gravy and condiments. We had 2 courses the Lemon Meringue wasn't up to standard as the meringue was like mallow. However the Creme Brulé was gorgeous. Will go back just not for meringue! Voir le carte

Really friendly and welcoming staff, food lovely and generous portions. Joined in our family banter about paint colours thankyou for backing the female line and confirming Taupe Icing on the cake has to be giving us your spare milk at the end of the night to save us having to find a late night shop how amazing are you thankyou If we’re ever your way again we’ll be back!

Great pub, atmosphere and ambiance. 100% unpretentious. We have been here countless times in fact we've just come back from Sunday lunch yet again !!!. All the food (not forgetting the wine) we have had here have been amazing, we are just sooo glad they haven't got rooms because we would end up living there although we only live 5 miles away. So a massive thank you to Wil and all the team you are all very welcoming and attentive. Ian Jo

Booked a table for a family meal, the service was very good from the young lady serving on the Saturday evening we went. The kids both ordered steak, cooked perfectly to their preference, the peppercorn sauce was incredible. My sister had the Katsu Chicken which looked amazing and she really enjoyed it. I went for the Lamb shank, which was very large and absolutely delicious too. The prices were reasonable for the quality. Perfect dinner and we all enjoyed it! Thanks. Voir le carte

Just marvellous. Unpretentious and welcoming (but still smart and well presented). This place is a joy to go to. Accommodating for families, easygoing, professional. Staff were friendly. Prices were good. Local beer delicious… But the food?! My goodness. So hearty. Great range on the menu. Satisfying. Flavoursome. Well presented. The gentleman I met who runs the kitchen appears to be a modest fellow. He is a superstar. Our favourite pub/restaurant to eat in on a Norfolk holiday. Thank you team.

The Crown are currently running a £12 Tuesday promotion with a choice of main courses for £12. Starters/desserts £6 each. We went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal. I had pork belly served with toasted potatoes, cauliflower cheeses, carrots cabbage gravy and topped with a Yorkshire pudding- a great plate of food for £12. The star of the show was a seasonal gooseberry fool served with a shortbread biscuit. There are also various discounts on drinks which makes this a lovely mid week treat. Definitely returning .

Been working my way around the pubs trying out their Sunday lunches. The crown is definitely up there with the best. Generous portions, perfectly cooked and a great size kids roast too. The only little snag was we had to ask for more gravy, but so did a few others the gravy tasted great there just wasn’t enough but they were happy to oblige and brought out a whole boat. My daughter is 5 with a great appetite and had the child’s roast beef and cleared her plate, and I had pork with crackling. Perfectly cooked and tender, with fresh seasonal veg. It was just yummy!
