Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff, great food and good portions. We had the vegan fritters and they were excellent. Ok , so this was my first local back in the day and I have been coming here for over 30 years and I still love it . I have just had the most delicious Fish meal ever , it was absolutely delicious and the beer is great too . I can highly recommend the Crown pub in Hastings. Hope you enjoy the picture x

Went there for lunch with a friend on a Wednesday. Really lovely place with an interesting menu and dishes were beautifully prepared and presented. Also went there on a busy Saturday afternoon. Went for a family meal on a Monday night, glad we booked as most tables were full (sign of a good restaurant). The food was amazing, not sure 5 stars is a high enough rating. Everyone's meal was perfectly cooked, fantastic flavours, and decent portion sizes. A place I'd definitely want to go back to again if I was in the area. great atmosphere, very friendly staff and the chips we had were super delicious (amusing smoke ketchup! , eat served until late. huge gin selection (half a4 page worth! I've never ordered a g t, so I wouldn't have found a better place. I had affe 47 with Mediterranean fever tree tonic a piece gurke, tasty! definitely recommend and really want back to try the whole menu!

Brilliant pub and kitchen. All dishes delicious: blue cheese ham croquetas, crispy sardine and panzanella (stand-out), brown shrimp, and mains of bacon chop and an excellent home-made brown sauce, and curried cod cheeks with super curried garnishes. Really tasty, gutsy cooking, with upbeat, good-natured service. Nice little wine list too. White Rioja was delicious. We’d definitely return on another visit to Hastings. Price per person: £40–50

I liked the pub very much, she had a good atmosphere and was warm and comfortable, although it was like in an iondon gastropub instead of a Hastings place. that is not so much a critique as something unexpected. the food was really very good and we all enjoyed it, with taking out my Christmas spice, which was quite dry and unstoppable. when the staff saw that I had left half of it, they immediately took the accusation of our bill, which was a pleasant surprise. the staff was friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend it for a pleasant evening. we will go back!
