Every time we go into the pub the staff are welcome apart from one she is always rude she let's the pub down if the pud didn't have any customers it would be because of her rude

We had lovely roast. Plenty of wholesome home cooked food. Friendly welcome from staff always. Apple pie and custard is fav. You know you will have a nice meal with loads to choose from. And raffles. Quiz nights etc

we have met for a family birthday dinner, eat for good price-performance ratio hot and fresh, really friendly staff and atmosphere, beautiful locally in the suburb bournemouth and our local, they also make a good quiz night!

Food always good. Sirloin steak is a must, cooked to perfection. All the meals are lovely. Nice atmosphere. Staff really friendly. Always feel welcome in this pub and staff have time for you. Would highly recommend. Prices are very good

It's not my first visit and certainly won't be my last. We chose the turkey lunch which was lovely, piping hot, plenty of it, and everything cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we wanted for nothing. We even managed to...squeeze in a pud !! Our thanks to the chef and Merry Christmas to all

a nice lunch. hubby had sirloin steak, that's the best, ever. I had the chickenpeeling. it was tasty and I usually leave the baked, but I ate it all. really recommend. all meals are reasonable and very good. the personal is so...nice and the manager. I really think this pub is a loan for everyone working there. tables thoroughly cleaned after each person has gone

Food was good but very difficult to eat when the barman was continuously coughing into his hand then wiping his nose with the palm of his hand then pouring drinks and carrying glasses without washing or using hand sanitiser. When he wasn't wiping his nose...he was rubbing his eyes. The landlord was also behind the bar but did not seem to notice anything was wrong. Overall not a nice experience
