"The waiting team and bar staff were excellent! Really friendly, polite and well trained. They checked how the food was, whether we needed more drinks etc. Food was delicious! I would definitely recommend the pie night and it was lovely to have the choice of mash rather than chips. A medley of veg rather than just peas would have been great. The only thing that stopped me giving it a full 5/5 was that wait times for food for quite long. It was however very full so I can understand why and the quality of mains and desserts made the wait worthwhile."

I have eaten at the Crown at least half a dozen times and I have never had a bad meal. Their menu caters for all tastes and the trifle is to die for!!!

Food was faultless. My only little whinge was it did take nearly 30 mins for our food order to be taken and at the end I had to go to the bar to pay our bill as know one returned with the card machine. . It is only a small thing and certainly didn't detract from an exceptional meal

Never disappoints, always a wide variety on the menu, even on special menu evenings. Something for everyone. I have one Gluten Free and a Vegetarian and it’s always first on their suggestion list for an evening out due to the wide menu selection for their specific requirements. Staff attentive and polite as always.
