eating is amazing! very friendly staff and a nice feeling for the place. beautiful that we have booked immediately for the following evening. highly recommended

had an absolutely fantastic meal here. the chef went out of his way to feed us after we arrived late, has produced a few great meal times that the black bell was *cook’s kiss the best I ever had! beautiful place beautiful people. highly recommended!

We found this place by pure chance. But, if I'm ever neat here again I'll come back. My friends hat pork belly and ox cheek, I had a fish and chips. Everything was amazing. Delicious. Chef and owner Stephen came out and told us about where the pork came from. We were super happy. 5 stars every time. Voir le carte

beautiful place dear men steve has us the feeling was very helpful, even brought us to the high time place and took us off what was about miles away. eating especially full English breakfast was fabulous we would definitely be back here if we continued so far. can not praise steve they have a nice friendly place thank you for everything

Highly recommended!! We came in on a Saturday without a reservation as we were passing through. They managed to get us a table anyway, despite being incredibly busy. Our server was absolutely lovely, very knowledgeable and attentive. We had the fillet steaks which were absolutely perfect (and locally sourced). We had the rhubarb crumble for dessert which was equally amazing and made with rhubarb from our servers garden We felt amazingly taken care of and really enjoyed the food. Thank you so much! A very traditional pub, which offers excellent food and drink , and it also has B&B facilities. Beds comfy and plenty of hot water. Steven and his staff are welcoming from the minute you arrive and are very helpful. We spent a lovely evening chatting to them and hearing their life stories. Would recommend this place, especially good if you have a function at Hidden River Barn but would prefer more economic accomodation. Steven is willing to act as a taxi service to and from, so there's no problem with drinking if you are so inclined!
