"Now before you read this, I am not a picky customer in any way and I don’t enjoy writing poor reviews needlessly. However, this deserves to be written. I have been coming to the creamery for years with my family and partner and always loved...it. However, today will be my last time here. We visited for a birthday today and ordered the black pudding pakora, which was okay, albeit a bit flavourless. The spiced onions and pakora sauce were nice. We then all got the hunters chicken as this is the dish that we always get as it’s great. As soon as it arrived, I knew something was wrong. Instead of a chicken breast with a full bacon rasher, covered in bbq sauce and cheese, we were given chicken goujons (soggy as they’re in sauce), morsels of bacon lardon pieces and barely any sauce and cheese. I asked the waitress about this and she said that she’s only been there weeks and it’s always been like that. I then went up to the bar to speak to the owner. He said that the reason for this change is due to them having issues with the chicken breast drying out (in the years I’ve been coming here, not once have we experienced it dry, as it’s cooked in sauce anyway) and that customers prefer it this way. There is no way that the customers would prefer what is being served now to what it used to be, so let’s be honest, the real reason is to cut costs, plain and simple. The owner then said that it’s been like this since they reopened months) which was a bare faced lie as I’ve been here times last month (May) and each and every time, the chicken was a breast, not measly soggy goujons. The owner was very arrogant and rude and just said “well I’ll take it off the bill”., to which he did but this was probably one of the worst experiences and disappointments I’ve had in a restaurant, and I’ve been to some places. For dessert, I enjoy the cheesecake which I always get with ice cream instead of cream, but was now told that ice cream would be a surcharge, which is crazy as the ice cream they use isn’t expensive stuff in the slightest. We wanted to leave as soon as possible and after the way the manager spoke and acted, I was severely disappointed and angry. I, and several family and friends have been regular customers here for a long time, but after today, we won’t be returning, it’s clear the customer isn’t first priority here, but being more frugal is. Just had another great meal here. Portions sizes and prices are brilliant ! Always clean, waitress was as always very attentive and pleasant. Would recommend.

Always forget about the creamery for dinner, my family and I went last week for a meal and it was a pleasant surprise. Can’t remember last time I had such a good meal. Highly recommended, will be back.

had lunch here yesterday started with black pudding pakora which was lovely,steak pie which would have been better served with mash or thicker cut chips to help soak up fab gravy,but was disappointed with apple crumble,not the way to serve it but all in all...a very tasty meal.will be back

Went for a family meal and a couple of drinks on Friday night. The food was lovely and all the family enjoyed there meal, just disappointed we didn’t leave room for desserts, maybe next time!! Great pint of lager , clear they know how to...look after there beer! Our waitress was also lovely, couldn’t have been nicer. Think we have found a new go to place. Looking forward till next time. We were on a motorbike tour of Scotland and this is by far the food highlight of the tour. Excellent meals steak pies and haddock then sticky toffee puddings and a sundae all cooked to perfection. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Wish...I lived closer as I would be a regular, the people of Falkirk are very lucky to have such a place on your doorstep. If you haven't been before give it a try you won't be disappointed

Visited recently with my husband, young daughter, dad and partner. Wasn’t expecting much upon arrival but what’s the saying ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’. Upon arriving we were asked to have our face coverings on at all times unless seated and there was...hand sanitizer at the entrance. A contact name and number was taken From one person per household in the group. Staff all wearing face coverings. Felt really at ease as we haven’t ventured out much due to COVID. Food was delivered to the table shortly after ordering and it was delicious. Bobby,alan and their team are providing the very best of service As a member I am proud and privilidged to be writing this review. Along with my colleagues we frequent the creamery on a regular basis participating in the meal and two hours of pool...deal. We have also dined in the restaurant. We regularly have soup wraps fish and chips and the all time favourite steak pie with all the trimmings. I have eaten all over the world europe, australia and hong kong to name but a few and nowhere have I eaten a better steak pie than the creamery. Visited here for dinner on a Monday. Upon arrival, we were given the new guidelines/ requirements due to so this was good to see they’re taking things seriously. We were then seated in a booth (with protective glass) and our drink orders were taken...by the polite waitress. We ordered off of the set menu, deciding upon the black pudding pakora, hunters chicken and a cheesecake (strawberry). The black pudding pakora was lovely, very hot and fresh and served inside what looked like a homemade poppadom. The pakora sauce and spiced onions were also great. Visited here for my birthday. My partner had phoned ahead and booked a table for which I’m assuming the manager said wasn’t a problem. We then arrived and he’d made a table for and a table for with a space and plastic...divider up which was very disappointing because that’s not a table for it’s a table for and a table for so not ideal for a family lunch. I understand all of the covid guidelines, however, there was no reason that he couldn’t have pushed our tables together because that wouldn’t have put anyone at more risk, and actually would have resulted in our table being more socially distant from a table of that came in.
