"This might be the best fish and chips I've ever enjoyed. I stopped by while staying in the area, and after seeing it packed with customers a few times, I knew it had to be worth a try. The fish was perfectly cooked, the chips were delicious, and I also tried the peas and gravy, which were great. The price was quite reasonable given the location and the high quality of the food. I'm thankful that the chip shop in my town isn't this good, or I’d probably be a lot heavier! I got my meal as takeout, and the service was excellent."

The restaurant was busy but the service was quite quick. The food was well prepared, and the large fries were a good size, though not as big as those from some other establishments.

I had a fish and chips takeaway along with a small espresso and coffee. They also had a customer toilet available. I was just grabbing some chips and tea, but everything was really good. The staff provided cheerful and welcoming service during my first visit. Voir le carte

Got home late last night just as the Chip Shop was closing. Welcomed with a smile and the usual good service. No rush at all and supper was delivered to the car so we could wait in the warmth. Thank you and best wishes are not enough but enjoy your Christmas break.

I love this fish and chips shop! The fish and chips are made to order and always cooked perfectly. The staff are consistently friendly and treat everyone like an old friend, regardless of whether you're a regular. If you have a local chippy, you'll definitely want to treat them with the same respect as this place. Whether you're driving to Oakham or passing through, it’s definitely worth a stop!
