We stopped in for Sunday lunch while staying nearby, such a lovely traditional pub! The food was excellent and really good value for money and the landlord was so friendly and welcoming, definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place! Went today (sunday) had a pork roast and a chicken soup starter... well it blew my socks off! Food was amazing, so welcoming and friendly! Cant wait to revisit so worth the trip thanks again for everything!

Visited here today with a friend. Looks very ran down and delapitated. Pigs in the beer garden that is filthy. Very dodgy looking people inside. Unfriendly bar staff... Had a pint of coke at £3 and couldn't drink it . Needs to be shut down. 0/10

A warm welcome at the **** Inn from Jane and Steve. Great beer (they have guest ales regularly) and a nice local atmosphere. Very dog friendly and a lovely warm fire. Clearly very popular with local foresters etc. We will definitely revisit. Thanks

An outstanding pub, one of the very best for beers and food. Excellent home cooked food with a superb choice on the menu. Could have stayed there all day, and it was so good we're going back tomorrow for lunch. The landlord and landlady were welcoming and attentive, and the decor is everything an English pub should be.
