I'm thrilled to have discovered this charming pub. The value for the price is exceptional and the staff are incredibly friendly.

A surprisingly large pub with extensive outdoor seating as well as lots of seating indoors. Food cooked freshly and helpings more than adequate.

Excellent the service was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious good size portions as well. Parking was easy. Well worth the visit

Stopped by as was just passing on a Sunday, had not booked but staff found us a table for 2 Excellent food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff, good range of drinks.

The food at this restaurant has consistently been great, and they also host a lively pub quiz. It's one of the rare chain pubs that is popular among locals. To excel in the quiz, it helps to have knowledge from the 1950s through the 1990s, but it's free and enjoyable. I suggest stopping by for a drink, testing your trivia skills, or trying some of their food.

Stopped over in Motorhome on route to Cornwall, phoned day before, Jess told me where to park when I arrive. Parked up staff very friendly knew we were arriving and table reserved. Dog friendly. Food was excellent we had the steak and was cooked perfectly. Good atmosphere mainly with locals. Would thoroughly recommend as stop over from J21 on M5 only a couple of miles, so easy to get back on again. Location in heart of village with plenty of parking. Good nights sleep.

We have used the coach house for lunch a number of times in the past finding the seniors menus very good value. Yesterday however we noted the prices had gone up....ok so what hasn't. Unfortunately the quality has gone down in my opinion, the tomato and basil soup was so thick it could best be described as a thick tomato sauce best suited to a pasta dish, the chips whilst home cooked were bland and mostly just scraps. To top it off I made the basic mistake of asking for a bottle of Sauvignon blanc without seeing the wine list....£30 for a bottle of wine in a country pub... really!!!!! I won't be making that mistake again. Such a shame prices up quality down is not the way to encourage custom...

We were trying to find a cosy pub with a garden and found this gem in Locking. I'll be honest, from a glance at the photos, I thought it would be cheap and cheerful hungry horse type. I had 2 starving kids so we made our way over to the pub. To our surprise, they had a gorgeous pub garden in full sunshine but plenty of parasols to keep little ones in the shade. The outside is kept clean and tidy! We ordered white bait, calamari, falafel salad, scampi and chips and 2 kids meal deals (cheesy pasta). It was absolutely amazing! So good I forgot to take pictures, we ate everything. Best part is how reasonably priced the menu is! The staff and service was wonderful. Truly friendly, happy and the c...
