"Ate here with other couples. We were placed in the very back corner of the restaurant, which would have been okay had the space not been so cramped. I could barely straighten my legs at all during the whole dinner. Drinks orders were taken...without any drinks menu to look at, the mixed starters were a very average collection of cold prawns, a slice of salmon, a strange spring roll affair but with a quite enjoyable scallop. than hours after arriving, the main course finally appeared; the herb crust was too salty and the meat undercooked for medium rare. But what shocked me most was the wine list. I went with the plan to enjoy a fee bottles of wine with good steaks and great company without too much concern about what it would cost. But a quick look at the wine list totally put me off. The cheapest bottle of wine was and, having drunk it, I can confidently say that it wasn’t worth it. As mentioned in a different review, over priced and a disappointment. I won’t go again."

The food is compared to the price ok; a steak of needs to taste this way. Due to the many tables and the loud guest conversations in the small space it is simply not convenient The place simply attracts the wrong audience, more like...a bar.

They serve steak from Nebraska and it's got a great flavor. Sometimes beef in Germany doesn't always taste right to me. The seating is extremely cramped. I had the Bankers filet and it was fantastic. Also had sides of spinach, mushrooms and fries.

Long time patron. I have tried most steak houses in town, but keep coming back. This is by far the best steak restaurant you can find in and around Düsseldorf. In addition to their impeccable triple star steak they offer a terrific wine card, tasty...dessert (try the double mousse au chocolat), excellent service and family vibe. Not cheap, but definitely reasonable for the quality served.

We booked this restaurant based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were certainly not disappointed! The restaurant is not located in the Altstadt, so we saw mostly locals here that night. We both ordered a steak and it was perfect! A little crunchy on the...outside and perfectly fine on the inside. Waiter was quick, with both drinks and food. Great wine too! Be careful when ordering a bottle, prices are high!

This is my go-to restaurant when I need a steak. Sister restaurant of Reef and Beef and the menu is very similar. I will say the same thing about both restaurants my favourite cut of steak is rib-eye but the one they serve here...is far too lean for my taste one of the reasons I love rib-eye is the lumps of fat and the delicious texture that fat marbled all through the meat gives it. A lean version just doesn’t deliver what I expect. However, I have discovered that the filet is excellent, and I particularly love the Apache Filet it’s **** delicious!
