"I love the Chapter House, it's a beautiful building, lovely decor, great atmosphere and good friendly service. We went most recently with my parents who really enjoyed their meals, the ribs and the burger. My other half also enjoyed his burger although he said it wasn't as good as previous times. However, I'm vegetarian and since you've changed the menu to be more vegan friendly the veggie vegan) options are really boring and quite 90s pasta, risotto or salad! So I ordered Halloumi fries and sweet potato chips the sauce that comes with the Halloumi is a really sickly tomato pasta sauce, it would be better with a sweet chilli sauce or Chipotle mayo, and the sweet potato chips were a little under cooked. The reason I was happy to book even without good main options was for the Chocolate Delice for pudding, but you've stopped doing it although it's still on the menu! : Please improve/add some more veggie not just vegan) options that are a bit more exciting! Or add the mushroom and halloumi burger back to the menu. Another plus point, they are doggy friendly and made my boy's day by putting ice into the water bowl. Service: 4 Location: 5"

Great service, great atmosphere and steak’s delicious. Only negative was vegetarian options. Risotto and pasta is a cop out for a vegetarian option and when you’re spending circa £50 a head for a meal out you expect more than that. Re-think your veggie option as they’re very often the person who chooses where to go! Service: 5
