"So glad I found this hidden treasure whilst holidaying in Laugharne, South Wales. The food was absolutely delicious, truly authentic and packed full of flavour. It is freshly prepared and so it takes a little longer but it’s well worth the wait. We ordered the Prawn Noodles which was a generous portion with lots of king prawns within and the Thai Green Veg Curry with Jasmine Rice which transported you straight to Bangkok. It’s a shame we found it on the last day of our trip, don’t make the same mistake and certainly visit this place if you’re in the area."

"So it would be unfair to say this was average but we would not rate as very good for a couple of reasons. Firstly there was just one waitress who did her absolute best to try and look after a very full restaurant but struggled and we felt sorry for her. My wife had a special of fishcakes which she said were excellent and a good portion. I had the scampi, which was ok but maybe a little greasy but that was maybe because it had not had time to rest as they were trying to get food out. Also the chips were very undercooked. My wife enjoyed her Pinot Grigio and we were going to have coffee and cake but waited 20 minutes and could not get the attention of the poor waitress so we decided to pay and go. I think we just picked a bad day so would go back as some of the other food coming out looked great."

"Fifteen minutes later, a young waiter brought my wife's coffee but forgot my tea. He asked if that was all, and I reminded him about the tea I was still waiting for. He mentioned that drinks were supposed to come with the all-day breakfast, so I explained that they didn’t have our order when we arrived and shouldn’t assume our initial drink order was for that meal. After I expressed that we had been waiting far too long for our included drinks, he went back to speak with the waitress about the tea, and I noticed they both laughed. Another ten minutes went by before my tea finally arrived. When it was time to pay, I wasn’t given an itemized receipt, so I had to ask for one. Eventually, the waitress provided it: two all-day breakfasts, with drinks included, plus an extra tea and coffee. The food itself was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Although I saw other positive reviews and had some nice conversations with fellow patrons that day, I believe all customers deserve equal treatment and respect. Overall, this was the low point of our five-day trip to Wales, which was otherwise beautifully picturesque, with friendly interactions throughout. I don’t think I’ll be returning to Arthur's."

"The food service at this restaurant is excellent, with generous portions served in a surprisingly spacious and quirky setting. All three of us enjoyed our main course desserts, and despite only having two courses, we left feeling stuffed. My Rib of Beef with rich ale sauce and Horseradish Mash was bursting with deep, rich flavors. The chocolate Brownie with chocolate sauce and high quality vanilla ice cream was a decadent treat. Another member of our group thoroughly enjoyed their vanilla ice cream Sundae. The restaurant also offers free WiFi, which can be useful for those with poor mobile reception in the area of Largharne."

"I don't do reviews as a rule, but I feel I have to on this occasion. Called in here last summer and what a find. The service was fast and friendly and they couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely call in again when we are down that way this year"
