"Went here at the weekend for a meal. We had fish chips which was perfectly presented, sadly the taste didn’t match the appearance. The fish in particular tasted of burnt overused fat and the meal overall was greasy. It was a shame as the beer garden here is absolutely beautiful, much care and work has gone into this lovely area however the taste of the food should match the appearance. However at the prices charged this really needs to be worked on. I will return and try something else, but it won’t be the fish and chips again for certain. Maybe if the fat was changed more frequently and more attention given to the oil they use for frying it would improve things."

Had a lovely takeaway sunday lunch. Piping hot and tasty . Lovely treat yet again . Chocolate crunch was the best I've had.

I had lamb and mint pie which was lovely and still hot when I got home. Always enjoy a meal when they are open and enjoyed my takeaway as much.

Really nice food, well cooked. Lot's of real ales. Highly recommended. Really good old coaching inn with good parking. Lovely staff and good service.

We’ve had takeaways from the Bulls Head for the last three weeks. All have been excellent quality, delicious, good portion sizes and superb value. Brilliant service.

my family of 4 had a superb Sunday roast,2 beef,1 pork and 1 turkey,all served hot and in good time considering how busy it was.We all felt very safe and at ease.thanks again

Outdoor Sunday lunch during lockdown was amazing . Table heaters available and lovely staff . One way system adhered to and no wait . No having to be kicked off the table promptly after 2 hours was up which is nice. Definitely visit again

The best food and lovely staff and most of all it felt like a very safe environment. I had liver and onions and it was lovely on a winter's night and hubby had his favourite steak and ale pie Every meal is always delicious and reasonably priced We will be back soon

We came for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was busy with diners upstairs but it's spacious so plenty of room between tables. It had a great atmosphere almost as if we weren't in Covid times.The staff were great and attentive and the whole thing was table service. Food was fabulous and reasonable.We had a really lovely evening and felt safe. The one way in and out is good as well as all the table cleaning etc. We had a few takeaway meals over lockdown but we were very glad to be back in real life!
