"when I read reviews, I am often staggered by the difference in the experiences that people have made of the same place. we visited the bull on Saturday night with something contempt after reading a few of the a star comments. we were greeted cordially and enthusiastically by bar staff and helped in our selection of drinks. we decided to have a meal. we started by serving the most delicious creamy garlic mushrooms on garlic brotfinger. for our main courses I decided for scampi and my wife for the broken fish. both meal times were served with very tasty skin on chips as well as the best homemade tartaric acid sauce I ever had. the service was fast, efficient and friendly and we had a really pleasant time. I hope their experience is as good as ours when they decide to visit this excellent pub."

good lively atmosphere. sporty, football on a lot. pool table, free table football outside. eat good and friendly staff. good size outside sitting area and good size eating side of pub. could go with a wider choice of ales, but overall a good place.

I will be seeking legal advice as to the woman on the front door who was totally unprofessional and acted with how the local community acted just to seek their appraisal, who spoke to me in such a manner of digust. I will not come again and tell anyone not to approach due to her professionism and treatment of people. Utter degust, you should be ashamed of yourselves
