The staff were excellent from the time we arrived and through out our meal, very attentive. Our meals were served quickly and we enjoyed all them. Definitely will be going again.

A interesting pub, next to the river. Bright and spacious. Enjoyed the two course lunch menu at £15.75 a person. I had chilli and rice, which was hot and tasty. Food was served quickly and bar staff friendly and helpful.

Food old and inedible and steep at £15 a meal. Staff rude. Kitchen staff just as rude through the doors. Especially male manager in white shirt. It’s hard times for many families currently and if this was a treat you’d be gutted. Voir le carte

The pub was quiet when we arrived for an evening meal. Even so, I was really impressed with the speed and quality of service. The food was hot and delicious and the beer was well kept. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area

Visited for the first time this afternoon. Very nicely decorated and clean with a good atmosphere. Lovely welcome from the two front of house staff (guy with ponytail and blonde lady) had Sirloin Steak which for the price was very good indeed no gristle and perfectly cooked. Very nice location we will 100% come back

I have been to this restaurant for many meals, but the Sunday lunches are truly exceptional. The quality and presentation of the food are outstanding. The service is excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely. Mary, Darren, and the entire team are a shining example of hospitality. Dining here is always a pleasure. Voir le carte

We had not booked today and were greeted very warmly by Mary and Darren Mary even remembered our drinks order from last time! Our Sunday roasts were quickly served, lovely hearty portions and well presented. Delicious! We are always impressed with the quality of service and cleanliness of the surroundings. We will certainly be back again soon. Our hosts make you feel like personal friends.

This place is let down by allowing workmen, in dirty work clothing, to take over the bar area which is very off-putting to us paying diners, and restricting us to where we can sit. We were steered to an area where workmen were sitting drinking (on the nice furniture in their dirty clothes). They were swearing a lot and VAPING in there! Clouds of smelly vape filled the area. Won’t go again.

Avoid…..Absolutely dreadful food and dreadful service! Baked Beans were a brown/ black colour as if they’d sat there all day! Chilli and nachos were basically the same brown beans but even drier with curdled sour cream. The portion sizes would not even fill a child, eg a portion of cheese was served in a ketchup pot. There were flies everywhere which completely made you feel sick trying to land on your food. The staff are miserable and seem to have an issue if you ask for anything else to the point of loudly voicing their opinions because we asked for some extra cheese which gain came out in a ketchup pot! We will never visit here again…. It is the worst eating place I have been too ever!! Voir le carte
