Food was marvellous better than some very high class eatery's we received a very warm welcome from the owner Mike Dandy and his staff.. Mike is happy to...banter with you and make you feel at home. With so many of the West Countries Pubs closing I must tell you this one is well worth supporting and treasuring."

We’ve just had an excellent lunch at The Black Swan. Everything was perfect, the friendliness, the service, the good food, clean toilets. We’ll definitely go back.

Went in to watch the rugby they reserved a table for us which was great. Friendly locals, great landlord, fast and helpful service. Stayed long after rugby had finished. Thank you for a great night!

Warm welcome as soon as we entered the pub. Helpful and attentive waitresses. Pea and ham soup starter , one of the best ! roast dinners and puffs to finish. Good pub food, tasty, hot and quick service. Definitely recommend Voir le carte

Cannot fault. My family and I visited on the September for a family get together of service was exceptional and could not be more helpful,food was delightful, tasted fantastic and quick. Would recommend, a great find indeed. Thank you!

We found The Black Swan by chance as it was half way between our house in Cheddar and our friends in Dunkeswell, and what a find. Mike and his team made us so welcome, the food great and the service excellent despite there being a...group of about having a birthday lunch. We'll be back. Voir le carte

Did not have the highest expectations for this place. Pub looked a little run down and in need of sprucing up. But the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the food wow! The vegetarian lasagne is one of the best pub meals I've...had in a long time, and was very reasonably priced. If you're in Langport, you should definitely come here.

Warm, friendly welcome by both mine hosts and locals in bar area. Comfortable seating in restaurant and excellent varied menu. The food was top quality, delicious and hot (unlike some places where food is cold on delivery). In terms of value for money it is...the best in the area, if not Somerset. If you are visiting Somerset Levels or local, like ourselves, then you must try it out.
