What a gem. Warm rolls and cool pints. Perfect stop on a long bike ride.

Great old country pub. Literally one of the best. Be prepared and accept the fact you will queue for drinks and food and you will enjoy it.

A proper unspoilt village pub. Great selection of real ales, and ciders. Food options are limited to filled rolls which are very nice quality.

Very nice historical pub. The interior is TINY, but there is a really nice large garden area on the back so its perfect place for a beer after a walk in the countryside! The prices are also really good.

The pub is picture postcard pretty has ample parking a lovely garden to eat drink in. The landlord staff are really friendly helpful. I can recommend the cider the Mexican chicken in a bun for lunch. You wiy not be disappointed.

Discovered a delightful hidden gem that serves delicious ploughman's platters and rolls. The selection of cheeses and meats was top-notch. I tried the salmon and brie platter, as well as the steak and Stilton. Both were fantastic. The corned beef and cheese platter was also a hit. The portions were generous, making it a great option for a filling yet light lunch.

Stumbled on this quaint little pub after walking the ridgeway- what a great welcome. It's how pubs should be. The garden is beautiful, plenty of seating plus the rolls are just what we wanted after a long walk. Don't expect fish and chips or mass produced meals. The menu is limited but what you get is fresh and just perfect . The local real ales on offer are great. Was a little gem.
