"Have eaten at the Bell a number of times, this perhaps the least satisfying perhaps influenced by that fact it closes in mid September to be taken over by another company, reopening Feb 2020 (I believe it will be owned by Brunning Price). The food this time was not as good as previously, vege burger option was dry and overcooked, my fish n chips pretty good. Drinks up to usual standard, but service not so a bit soulless and slow. Will miss the familiar faces, but enjoyable overall while it lasted!"

We would definitely recommend The Bell at Alderminster as it is now, but we understand that it will be taken over by a chain of pubs in a week or two, so we are unlikely to return. Voir le carte

We have enjoyed the atmosphere of The Bell for many years, and it has consistently upheld the highest standards. While I’m sad to say goodbye to the current management, I’m excited to see what the future holds.

Excellent food in a friendly village pub. We are so lucky to have moved to a village with such a good eating establishment and we are already regulars. Our visitors, who are serious foodies , pronounced the pork fillet main dish to be the best they had ever tasted. Can definitely recommend this place.
