This small pub has fantastic, welcoming staff and serves delicious, affordable food. The beer is also top-notch. We look forward to returning soon!

The new chef definitely knows his stuff. Two great fish dishes on the specials, along with others. Don't see lemon sole or halibut that often. A real treat. Voir le carte

Christmas menu was superb. Soup was delicious, Turkey with all the trimmings too. Plenty of choice per course. Lovely glass of bubbly included in the very reasonable price. Shame it wasn't busier. Lovely Christmas decorations, though.

Visited this pub yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely pub with a beer garden. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Still to try the food but I will definitely be back to try it. Friendly and helpful staff. The pub looks like it would be rather small upon entering but its quite the opposite,ideal for families too.

My husband and I popped in today (1st May) for lunch. I opted for macaroni cheese that came with salad and chips. My husband ordered a baked potato with chilli and salad. Both were generous portions. Served piping hot. My macaroni cheese was totally delicious, creamy cheesy sauce with crispy grilled cheese on top. Looking forward to coming back and trying something else from the menu. Thank you. In an effort to support local business my wife and I have tried twice to have a lunch at this establishment. Last week we arrived at two minutes to three to be told they stop serving food at three midweek. Tried again today but phoned down first, just in case. We were told yes that 's fine only to be told fifteen minutes later that the chef had decided to have Tuesdays off. Won 't bother wasting our time again.

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and was pleased to find that they serve food all day. The menu had a good variety and the prices were reasonable. The food we ordered was delicious and the prices for both wine and soft drinks were decent. The bar area was nice and the staff were friendly. I would definitely return and have already recommended it to others. I had the chili chicken and my friend had the beef stroganoff, both dishes were lovely.

We made a reservation for a table of 9 on 24/12/2019 to have lunch on 5th Jan 2019. Unfortunately, upon ordering drinks, we were informed that they only had one can of diet coke available, which was a bad start. After an hour passed, we still hadn't received any food. Eventually, our starters arrived but the overall food quality was average. When we requested salad cream for a salad, we were told that they were out of stock. I ended up ordering fish and chips but was informed that they only had scampi available. The attitude towards customers seemed to be indifferent - take it or leave it. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and food quality and will not be returning to this resta... Voir le carte
