We had a delightful, spontaneous dinner out on a Wednesday evening! It had been a while since we visited the Angel, but the food was fantastic—everything was fresh! I ordered the 'small' fish and chips, and it was excellent! I can only imagine how big the large portion must be, as the small was quite generous! Although it attracts many people, there’s enough space and a peaceful atmosphere for enjoyable conversations. I noticed many families and children truly enjoying their time here. Had a meal here pre booked the table for a Sunday evening for a party of 6 adults and 2 children, we was waiting at the door when we arrived no one approached us many of members of staff were walking past us and still waiting to be served I asked a waiter where we was sat. After waiting we had to ask someone if we could have menus and same again to order drinks and then order food the service was very slack and slow it wasn’t even busy! We ordered food and it took forever to come once it arrived they had multiple swaps and changes without letting us know, simple things such as peas was out of stock!
