Delicious German cuisine! Clear recommendation. Personally, I don't find enough space between the tables when the shop is full, but it's still quaint.

A nice place to dine with a local menu or in English to help foreigners passing through. Two rooms are available (main entrance to Thamers and in the basement). In both cases, a beautiful atmosphere awaits you for dinner. In the basement, an efficient waiter takes care of the entire room with formidable agility. Choice and copious plates. To recommend.

Nice, this is the hipster version of a 'traditional Hamburg restaurant '. Solid Labskaus (you know, the dish that everyone sniggers about for looking as if it had been eaten once before, but tasting not too bad although if I were to make a recommendation to the chef, cut the Labskaus itself in half and instead add some of the signature friend potatoes (yum! or some baguette bread; it 's quite hard to finish off something so massive with this consistency, even if made very well. Nice little spot in a beautiful old Hamburg neighborhood. Part Cheers, part New York neighborhood bistro. German staples and a few goodies like eggs and potatoes. They don 't open until Noon (2p on Sunday). Perfect for brunching after a night on the Reeperbahn! FYI, they are very protective of their larger tables when it 's busy. If you are one or two, they won 't seat you at a four-top. Yours truly is traveling solo this trip and got relegated to the tiny bar. No complaints, as that 's my preference rather than being the lonely dude at a big table. Also a good perch for people watching and composing pithy prose.

thämers is a restaurant with all the German essence without being the typical place of codillo and goulash. It is yes, the beer is not missing in a very pretty square, grossneumarkt, with a few restaurants and picturesque shops, banks and, like all the squares in hamburg, a couple of curious statues that we came here to make time before going to the cotton club of the jazz club, a couple of apples and was a good one. It is also close to the church of santk asgar (the first Catholic comes from roma to become the local tribe) and the church of san miguel, in case you wish to go around the area the interior is covered with wood and painted in dark colors, tables a little tight but with large wi...

El Thämers es un restaurante con toda la esencia alemana sin ser el típico lugar de codillo y goulash. Eso si, la cerveza no falta. Está situado en una plaza muy bonita, Grossneumarkt, con unos cuantos restaurantes y tiendas pintorescas, bancos y, como toda plaza en Hamburgo, un par de estatuas curiosas. Vinimos aquí para hacer tiempo antes de ir al club de jazz Cotton Club, a un par de manzanas y fue todo un acierto. También está cerca de la iglesia de Santk Asgar (el primer católico venido de Roma para convertir a las tribus locales) y de la iglesia de San Miguel, por si te quieres dar una vuelta por la zona.
