"This place is located on the promenade outside of the CentrO shopping mall. It is easily accessible and has both outdoor terraces and indoor tables. Be aware; Germans love to smoke and are still allowed to smoke outside on the terrace. So if you want...to sit in a non-smoking area, indoors is your only option unfortunately. The staff at Teatro are VERY friendly. They treated us like family, even with our kids that were a bit messy at times. The tables inside are slightly small, but good enough. The ambience is of a specific taste, though it didn’t really bother me. The food arrives quick! The quality of the food is very decent for a very decent price too. The menu offers ample choice. They have something for everyone. All in all; this restaurant is not a gastronomic high flyer, but it doesn’t have to be. I recommend this place. You will not be disappointed."

for the first time in oberhausen. decided to have Italian food for lunch. teatro is a casual and beautiful place to be. Common dishes and warm and welcome.

We visited the Teatro Restaurant today for lunch. The pizza was excellent, thin crust with cheese and salami was my treat. And it really was a treat it was so tasty, outside of Italy I would have to say one of the best I have...eaten.

Was looking for an early evening meal before a concert. All started off rather slow with little staff attention. However a surly waiter arrived and took order. We then waited 30 mins before a pizza and salad arrived. Had to chase them for the drinks....Then we had no cutlery so another wait. By now other people were leaving because there was long delays for service. At the end we then had to wait to pay the bill which was dealt with in a rude manner. My advise is don't go.
