"So, at Christmas I always treat myself to a great restaurant. Tawa Yama was recommended to me and since you don't treat yourself to anything else, we went to the gourmet restaurant. The 5-course menu for 157 euros without accompanying wines. You walk through the main restaurant through a tiled corridor and then come to the special area where there is room for around 30 guests (please don't pin me down, that's an estimate from me) unfortunately I didn't take photos of everything, but I have to say... .it was really worth every euro. The service was sensational, unfortunately I didn't remember the name, every single course was a taste explosion and was announced sensationally by her. If you're expecting large portions here, you're in the wrong place. Believe me, you'll still be full. One of the chefs bakes the bread himself...it was simply incredible, you won't find anything like it at any bakery. It was really a successful Christmas Day and many thanks to the Tawa Yama team, you really rocked it!!!"

This is the second time we have been disappointed with the Tawa Yama, the service is hard-working but unfortunately very overwhelmed. During our evening it felt like 25 times the answer was gladly which was too rehearsed and a bit annoying! The food was average and had hardly anything to do with Japanese cuisine, the waiting time for a cola was about 20 minutes, between the starter and the main course it was almost an hour, to be honest, the price/performance isn 't good, we won 't be coming back.
