we had booked a birthday party in a Sunday and the renter/renters were happy, a third sitting in us. the carvery was tasty and definitiw warns stingy in portion size! great puddings. with a sunny beer garden.

big pub, very good portions great eating too reasonable trips too. I would really recommend the Steak Piee with the best treacle tart ever! all staff were very nice and friendly. it was so good to go back tonight for the carvery that I am so happy!

Wonderful carvery today with my boyfriend and his family. Beautiful choice of three meats (I especially loved the beef and gammon, superb) and wonderful fresh veggies, all trimmings. Best roast I've had in a long time. The puds were excellent too. We shall be back!! Thank you X
