Tasty, authentic Japanese food. We ordered sushi rolls with yaki soba noodles which were delicious. The table service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable.

very hostile employees to us. designed to have a family of four said that all tables (the restaurant was empty) were booked. other people without bookings went in and sat down while we complained.

The food is tasty, yet the place downstairs is so tiny the table is simply not enough for people. We ended up spoiling the miso soup all over. Eating is like having to fight for table space. Didn't like the experiance Voir le carte

if they are looking for a place for a fast business lunch in this part of the city, then you should be on their list. eating is good and served quite fast. Just remember that the bill is paid on the way out and not on the table.

And very fast service, so if you’re working in Holborn it’s a skip to the street food on Leather Lane ..., Or do as we did and take the weight off and dive into Mugen for salmon teriyaki, jasmine tea, fluffy lite tempura prawns and...veg and tasty miso plus super soft sushi salmon. this is a fab restaurant that really serves super eating. the service is a little strange, but we were leaning to order and when we did, the waiter tried to get us, a little more expensive than we had chosen. I would go back because eating was soou good, but only being aware that they must be resistant to the pressure. Voir le carte

This is the second time I have been here for lunch and like the first visit it was very good. It gets busy but the staff are good and it has a nice buzz. We both had set meals and a beer and it was...good value. Service is swift too. I don't know much about Japanese food but I suspect the choice is not too adventurous.

The new decor is lovely, the service is excellent, but the tuna sashimi did not taste as fresh as one expects from a good Japanese restaurant. The salmon sashimi was fine, but even the tuna in the tuna roll was not as tasty as you...could fine in a grocery store. No matter how interesting some of the other dishes were, the tale is told in the sashimi. I will not return.

Visited here after evaluating several reviews and a few emails between teh restaurant and us. WE liked the Japanese communication upfront with my japanese wife and we were glad to have chosen this place. Wwent theer with people for a busienss dinner and everybody...was very satisfied with the amount and quality of food and the service. We were also positivly surprised that a lot of Japnese semes to eat hera to which is a very good sign for the authenitc cuisine. The only negative point in our visit was that the Wagyu beef was out (theerfore only str rating), though haven't been pre ordered from us Wills surely come back when again in London Voir le carte
