The tobacco mill was recommended by Locals. There are traditional German food and also some Saarland specialities. Beer from the local brewery. The food tasted very good. The portion was sufficiently large. The team was very friendly. For larger groups, I recommend a reservation because on Sunday afternoon no more table was available. Since my last visit both the service and the upkeep of the building is much improved. Service is now more responsive to customers and faster (from 18.00h onward) and 'old-school ' friendly during lunch times. The outside glass-steel canopy has gotten a new paint of coat, the glass roof was cleaned. Very nice. Food is better than it was when I was here a few years ago, alas, the industrial potato dough still prevents the complete enjoyment of the otherwise splendid Pfifferlinge dish. The beautiful location and the garden terrace is the main reason to visit.

We stayed at a small private party with 9 people for lunch in the tobacco mill last week. In advance we had asked for some extras: alcohol-free drink to kick, vegetarian amuse gueules, ice cream bomb as a desert everything else was ordered à la carte. All wishes were fulfilled. The 3 vegetarians were very happy with the menu. We were supervised by a very friendly, experienced service who already knew about our additional wishes on arrival. Thanks to all in the tobacco mill, it was a small beautiful successful celebration. The small company then found an end in a tour around the pond. We come back and recommend the house.
